Turquoise is a gemstone known for its mythical energy. In games, turquoise is typically used to represent magic and portals. Turquoise has always been deeply embedded in several different cultures as a symbol of hope and protection.

I wrote and illustrated an opening story sequence of a game, and wanted it to texturally evoke the feeling of old game manuals that I flipped through as a child.
